The MVM, MVMC and MVMN pumps are non self-priming vertical multistage pump featuring in-line design, flanged or with Victaulic coupling with equally sized suction and discharge ports.

Masterflow’s range of multistage pumps are ideal for applications such as Run Around Coils, Boiler Feed, Primary and Secondary loops in heating water circuits. Manufactured from 304 or 316 stainless, they are also suitable for Ethylene and Propylene Glycol plus a range of other liquids including low concentrate acids, deionised water, reverse osmosis, and light oils.

A sub variant of the standard Multistage is the Inverter range.

They can be operated by external VSDs or can be fitted with integral Inverter – refer to F and G range. Equipped with flow and /or pressure differential sensors, the Inverter model are ideal for HVAC applications.

The Masterflow Multistage are available in higher pressure rating (25 bar) these are ideal when installed in basements of high rise building with high static pressures resting on the pump.

Frequently asked Questions

Multistage pump are ideal for Heating water and Chilled water circuits when the required flow is less than 4l/sec and the discharge pressures are higher than 120kpa.

: At Masterflow we would never recommend a Multistage pump on an open loop condenser water system. They are not designed for these applications.
Like many engineering situations, there is no such thing as a simple yes or no, as there are so many other considerations in a pumping system, but in general multistage pump are comparatively quiet.
There is no limit to the discharge head. We have supplied multistage pumps that can achieve more than 2500kpa
