To protect the town water supply to your system from cross contamination, you must install an Automatic Refill Unit. This will automatically refill your system after water losses caused by system expansion and contraction and minor leakages without endangering the mains water with possible chemicals or dirt in the system.
Hot Water Station Technology can be used likewise to refill your system via centralised thermal storage, but doesn’t require mains water and therefore doesn’t need the protection that comes with an Automatic Refill Unit.
