Double regulating & commissioning balancing valves (DRVs) allow the measurement of differential pressures, which can be used to calculate a flow. There are various balancing methods, but all involve measuring differential pressures and adjusting them to the correct value by calculating what flow that represents.

Hydronic Balancing is the process of optimising the distribution of water in a building’s heating or cooling system or refrigeration system, so it provides the intended climate at optimum energy efficiency and minimal cost.
Complicated heating and cooling systems, particularly in larger buildings, require an accurate balancing technique. This charming heritage building nestled between more modern 1970s style structures and stands as a monument to Sydney early Macquarie era days. Originally used as a newspaper printing facility, it is now the home to RACP. This is where overseas medical professionals come to validate their overseas training and gain Australian recognition. In July 2016 an upgrade to their existing chilled water system was approved, and the work finished in July 2018.

Valve authority is…..

If we talk about a “normal” swimming pool application circa 2 PPM, you can use Hydrocontrol VFR. We don’t recommend to install the valve directly after the chlorine dosing machine, to make sure not having to high chlorine concentrations at the valve, which can also affect bronze. We don’t recommend the use of Hydrocontrol VFC, in these applications.
