DHW Stations Technology
Instantaneous heat exchange stations approved for the hygienic production of domestic hot water and space heating "just in time", via a centralised thermal store.
Oventrop hot water stations are relatively new to the Australian market but have been used in full force throughout the European market for the past 20yrs. They require primary heating flow and return + cold water supply.
Oventrop hot water station technology are Australian Building Codes Board Watermark approved and NSW Health policy directive approved.
The biggest environmental benefit from Oventrop Stations is the elimination of high temperatures that conventional systems require, while delivering a more hygienic potable hot water solution than the alternatives.
With the “just In time” functionality, it’s possible to meet Australian Standards (for potable hot/warm water hygiene) without overheating the domestic hot water to 60+℃ and then reducing it via maintainable thermostatic mix valves.
Improved designs often challenge traditional lines of thinking and approach.
With several signature projects in Australia, and countless ones across Europe, it is crucial to engage Masterflow engineers early in the project design phase.
This ensures all aspects of the hydraulic and mechanical design related to this new and improved approach are thoroughly covered. We offer full support from initial design of the project through to commissioning.
