High Pressure Pumps

We offer a specialised range of high pressure pumps up to 40bar. Offering includes the BAKERFLOW, BAKER-BLOC, MVM and Horizontal Split Case pump type.

Economical, reliable and convenient

The type of pump selected for a high-pressure application in a HVAC system will depend on a range of considerations. Chiller and Condenser Water High Pressure reticulation systems will mostly require a different type of pump for those used High Pressure High Temperature Heating water circuits.

MVM In-Line pumps with 25Bar Pressure rating will suit Boiler Feed applications and Heating Temperature Water circuits for flow rates up to 15 litres per second. For Chilled Water and Condenser High Pressure systems, the BakerFlow BPO End Suction High Pressure Pump offers an ideal solution for flow rates from 20 – 150litres per second. Distinctive design features of Bakerflow high pressure range of pumps include: –

  • Design of the wet ends with additional ribbing on volute casing
  • Flange Standard that have capabilities of high-pressure rating such as
  • Mechanical Seal design rated to 40 Bar
  • Materials of construction such as Ductile Iron or cast 316 Stainless depending on the max pressure.

Frequently asked Questions

Most conventional pumps for HVAC are 16 bar rated. If your system has a higher pressure than this then you need to contact our staff and they will work with you on your design.

Yes. For example, if on a 40-story building the Cooling Towers are on a high-level plant room and the pumps are in a basement plantroom, the pumps will have to withstand a high static pressure even when at rest.
There is no advantage technically or operationally. You would be paying a much higher price for no technical advantage.
